Your online booking page
Available on all current plans (Solo, Business and Team).
Your booking page is a single link you can share anywhere — an email signature, a text message, your website, the side of a van. Anyone who opens it sees only the times you are actually free, picks one, and it lands on your calendar as a scheduled appointment.
No account, no password, and no back-and-forth.
Turn it on
Go to Settings → Booking.
- Switch on Accept online bookings.
- Pick a link name.
velosiq.net/book/acme-plumbingreads better on a business card than a long ID — but the ID version keeps working forever, so a link you have already shared never breaks. - Set your weekly hours (below), then Save.
Until you switch it on, the page returns "not available" to anyone who tries it.
Weekly hours
Set the hours you are willing to be booked, for each day of the week. Times are in your business timezone — the one on Settings → Profile.
Add a second range to a day for a lunch break. Monday 9:00 AM–12:00 PM plus 1:00 PM–5:00 PM means nobody can book you at 12:30.
Days you leave switched off are simply closed.
Appointment rules
| Setting | What it does |
|---|---|
| Appointment length | How long each booking is. Everyone books the same length. |
| Gap between appointments | Protected time after each one. Start times space out to preserve it, so you never lose a slot to it. |
| Minimum notice | How soon someone may book. Twelve hours means nobody can grab a slot for this afternoon. |
| How far ahead | Caps how far into the future the page will show. |
| Appointment title | What these show up as on your calendar. |
| Where | Shown on the page and in the confirmation — "Phone call", or your address. |
| Lead source | Tags clients created from a booking, so you can see where work comes from. |
Blocked dates
Holidays and time off. Add a date under Blocked dates and it disappears from the booking page, whatever your weekly hours say.
Blocking a date does not touch appointments already on your calendar for that day — it only stops new bookings.
What Velosiq checks — and what it doesn't
A time is offered only when all of these are true:
- It falls inside your weekly hours for that day
- The date is not blocked
- It is far enough out to satisfy your minimum notice
- Nothing on your Velosiq calendar overlaps it, including your gap
Velosiq does not read your Google Calendar. Sync runs one way: appointments booked here are pushed to Google, but events you create directly in Google Calendar never come back — and will not block a booking slot. If you keep personal commitments in Google, either add them to your Velosiq calendar too, or block those days.
Two people can never take the same slot. The moment one booking is confirmed, that time disappears for everyone else.
What the client gets
They enter a name, email and phone, and see a confirmation straight away. An email follows from your business — your name, your logo, your colours, no Velosiq branding — showing the time in their timezone with yours alongside, so nobody does the arithmetic in their head.
That email carries a cancel link. If they use it, the appointment is marked cancelled and the slot opens back up automatically.
What you get
- The appointment on your calendar, shaded against your bookable hours
- An email telling you who booked, when, and anything they typed
- A client record, created automatically if the email is new to you — or matched to the existing one if it isn't
If someone books using the email of a client you already have, Velosiq links the appointment to them and never overwrites the details on that client's record. What the booker typed is kept on the appointment itself.
Timezones
The page shows times in the visitor's own timezone by default, labelled, with a switcher — so a client three states away books "2:00 PM my time" and you see it correctly on your calendar.
Your hours are always interpreted in your business timezone, and they follow daylight saving on their own. Nine in the morning stays nine in the morning.
