Appointments do not repeat, there is no route optimisation, and there is no crew dispatch board. A lawn care round or a scheduled maintenance contract is entered visit by visit. Does Velosiq do recurring jobs like Jobber does?
No, and this is the single most important thing to know before switching. Velosiq appointments do not repeat — a weekly maintenance round is entered visit by visit rather than generated from a schedule. If recurring visits are central to how you work, Jobber is the better tool and you should stay. This page is not going to pretend otherwise.
So what is the actual case for switching?
Pricing shape and equipment. Jobber charges for users — each person beyond your plan's seat limit adds to the bill, so a crew growing from three to six changes what you pay. Velosiq includes its seats in the plan price. And Velosiq costs your equipment out against the revenue it earned, which is not something field service software generally does.
Do I need dispatch and routing?
Ask how many jobs a day per person you run. A crew doing eight short calls across a city genuinely needs routing and dispatch, and Velosiq has neither. A crew doing one or two jobs a day, or multi-day work on one site, mostly does not — for them dispatch is a feature they pay for and never open.
Can my crew use it in the field?
Velosiq runs in a browser and works on a phone — invoicing, the calendar, client records and attaching equipment to a job all work from a driveway. What it is not is a dedicated crew app with offline mode and a job-by-job worker view. If your team lives in an app all day, weigh that carefully.
How does the money side compare?
