Invoicing

Create, send, and track professional invoices

Invoicing in Velosiq is unlimited on every plan — there is no per-invoice metering and no cap to watch.

An invoice is built from line items, optionally pulled straight from your products and services catalog so your usual work is priced once rather than retyped. Creating an invoice covers the mechanics; invoice statuses covers what draft, sent, partial, paid, overdue and cancelled each mean and what moves an invoice between them.

There are three ways to get one to a client — email with a PDF attached, a downloaded PDF, or a portal link — and invoice templates control how the document looks, with more designs available on higher plans.

Every invoice keeps its own activity log showing what happened to it and when, which is the first place to look when a client says they never received something.

One thing Velosiq deliberately does not do: there is no recurring or automatic invoicing, and no card kept on file. What it does instead is make a repeat invoice fast to duplicate and then chase it for you if it goes unpaid.
