Proposals

Win work with e-signable proposals

A proposal is how you win the work before there is anything to invoice. In Velosiq it is a document you build from line items, send as a link, and watch — and the client accepts it by typing their name, which is recorded as a signature.

Creating a proposal covers building one, including tiered options when you want to offer good/better/best rather than a single number. Sending and tracking is where the useful part lives: sent, viewed, accepted and declined are each timestamped, so "have they even opened it?" stops being a guess and you know whether to follow up.

What your client sees shows the other side of the link — no account, no login, just the document and an accept button. Acceptance records the signer's name, their IP address and the moment they agreed, which is what makes it hold up if it is ever questioned.

Once accepted, converting the proposal to an invoice carries the line items across without re-keying them, and the proposal funnel shows your win rate across everything you have sent.
